From a queue at the counter to a single tap.

The challenge
The lunch rush backed up at the counter. Orders were keyed twice, GST was worked out by hand and the totals rarely matched at close.

Our approach
We watched the counter through a rush, removed every step that didn’t need a person and kept the whole menu on one screen.

What we built
A tablet register with GST added automatically, payment on the card terminal, a printed receipt, and a web back office for the menu and daily totals.

The outcome
Orders close in a tap during the rush and the day’s totals match without a recount. We keep the system running and improving.
